Three steps to a grade
Shoot the front, back, edges, and corners with the in-app camera guide. Live camera only — real cards, real grades.
Vision models inspect centering, corners, edges, surface, and authenticity — erring low, the way careful graders do.
Watch the grade reveal in a cinematic sequence, then save the slab, its sub-scores, and live market value.
A cinematic grading sequence
Grading isn't a loading spinner — it's a moment. Behind the animation, three passes turn four photos into one verdict.
Each photo is split into centering, corner, edge, and surface regions for isolated, pixel-level inspection.
Findings are compared across angles to catch print lines, whitening, and authenticity red flags before they skew the score.
The four sub-scores are weighted into one overall grade, with a confidence level based on your photo quality.
Anatomy of a grade
Every grade is built from four weighted sub-scores — the same factors professional graders weigh. Centering carries the most, and the worst side always rules.
50/50 centering is a perfect 10. 60/40 is the most a 10 can drift. Off-center, soft corners, or a print line pull the number down — fast.

The fine print, up front
Gradr grades conservatively, the way careful graders do — because a number that's too generous costs you money at the counter. Predictions are for informational use only and are not official PSA or CGC grades. When a card looks off — wrong holo, off fonts, muddy color — we flag it instead of pretending.
Common questions
No. Gradr gives an AI prediction to help you decide before you spend money on professional grading. It isn't affiliated with PSA or CGC, and the number is for informational use only — not an official grade, appraisal, or financial advice.
Gradr is deliberately conservative — it errs low rather than generous, so you're not surprised at the counter. Sharper, well-lit photos raise the confidence score. It's a strong pre-screen, not a replacement for a professional grader's final call.
Grading integrity. Live capture keeps grades tied to the real card in front of you, which is why the app photographs the card rather than importing existing images.
